# Integrate BotPenguin with MoEngage

BotPenguin’s **MoEngage CRM integration** helps you enhance customer engagement by automatically sending chatbot user data and events to MoEngage. This enables **personalized, behavior-driven marketing campaigns** based on real-time chatbot interactions.

By syncing chatbot conversations with MoEngage, you can track user journeys, segment audiences, and trigger campaigns without manual effort.

The MoEngage integration allows you to send chatbot user details and interaction data directly to MoEngage in real time.

## Integrate BotPenguin with MoEngage

Follow these steps to integrate your BotPenguin bot with MoEngage and start sending bot data for analytics and automation.

### Step 1 of 3: Login to BotPenguin Account and Select Application to Integrate

a. Login to your **BotPenguin** account. Select and click the **Bot** you want to integrate with **MoEngage**. Click on the **Third-party Apps integration** tab.

b. The **Integrate Window** will open.&#x20;

c. A list of all native integrations for BotPenguin will be available in this window.

d. Find **MoEngage** by:

* Scrolling through the list, or
* Typing **MoEngage** in the search box with the placeholder “Search Integration By Name”

e. Click the **Connect** button as shown.

f. Enter the required MoEngage details:

* **API URL**\* – Enter the API URL provided by MoEngage
* **APP ID**\* – Enter your MoEngage App ID
* **DATA API KEY**\* – Enter the Data API Key from MoEngage

g. After entering the details, click on the connect button to establish the connection.

### Step 2 of 3: Establish Connection with MoEngage

a. After entering all the required details, click on the **Connect** button.

b. If the connection is successful, a confirmation message will appear indicating that BotPenguin is now connected to MoEngage.

### Step 3 of 3: Test Your Integration Setup with Data

a. Once the connection is established, you can test your integration by creating a dummy event or lead through your bot.

b. Check if the dummy event appears in your **BotPenguin Dashboard** as well as in **MoEngage**.

#### Still Not Working? Let’s Troubleshoot!

If your test data does not appear in MoEngage, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

1. **Incorrect API details** – Verify that the API URL, App ID, and Data API Key are correctly entered.
2. **Integration Permissions** – Ensure your MoEngage account has the proper permissions to receive API data.
3. **Free plan limitation** – Integration is available only on paid BotPenguin plans.
