Sending Emoji's On BotPenguin

This page guides user's on how they can introduce emoji's in their chatflow.

What are Emoji's in Chatflow

Emojis add personality, tone, and emotional context to your chatbot conversations. They help make the bot feel more human and engaging, especially when used for greetings, confirmations, prompts, or feedback messages.

In BotPenguin, you can add emojis directly to message blocks, options, buttons, and even quick replies across any chatbot flow.

Where to Use Emoji's?

You can use emojis in the following components of your chatbot:

  • Text Message Blocks

  • Option Buttons

  • Quick Replies

  • Welcome Messages

  • Error or Fallback Messages

  • Thank You/Confirmation Blocks

  • Broadcasts

Best Practices:

  • ✅ Use emojis to make replies friendly and expressive (e.g., 👍, 😊, 🎉)

  • ✅ Place emojis after or before key phrases to improve visibility

  • ✅ Limit emoji use in formal flows or B2B support bots

  • ❌ Avoid using too many emojis in a single message—it may look unprofessional

  • ❌ Do not replace important words with emojis—always keep the meaning clear
