This section contains essential information and usage guidelines for managing widgets inside BotPenguin.
Widgets
A Widget is a chat interface that can be installed in your website, ads, blogs or
any promotional content to route subscribers to your Chatbot. You can create multiple
widgets by following a few easy steps on the BotPenguin dashboard. To create one, go
to the `Widgets` tab in `Bot Settings` and click `Create Widget` on the extreme right. Here is the Quick Guide on How to Create a Widget
What is a Widget?
A Widget is an embeddable chat interface that allows you to route users from your website, advertisements, blogs, or promotional content directly to your chatbot. Widgets act as high-conversion entry points, enabling seamless user engagement across external touchpoints. You can create and manage multiple widgets directly from the BotPenguin dashboard.

How to Use Widgets
Log in to your BotPenguin account.
Create or select a Telegram Bot from your dashboard.
Click on the selected bot and navigate to “Automation Settings”.
Open the “Widgets” section.
Chatbot Icon
Click on “Chatbot Icon” to open the customization options.
Copy the chatbot icon embed code and paste it into your website header to install the widget icon.
Customize the icon by:
Selecting the icon size from the dropdown
Adding display text for the widget icon
Choosing placement and positioning on the website
Click “Update Widget” to save the changes.

Link
Click on the “Link” option to expand the dropdown.
Edit the pre-populated message that will be sent when a user clicks the widget link.
Click “Update Widget” to save the changes.
Click “Copy Telegram Link” to share the widget URL.

QR Code
Click on “QR Code” to expand the dropdown.
Edit the pre-populated message that appears when a user scans the QR code by clicking “Edit pre-populated message”.
Click “Download QR Code” to save and share it across offline or digital channels.
Click “Update Widget” to save the changes.
