Send Information

Contains information about the chat components in send information.

1. Message

  • It is used to send the information message to the user.

  • Select the "Message" component under send information.

  • You can add a text message which you want to send as information in the customize section.

Use Case: In case you want to send an informational message to the user, this component is used.

Advanced Settings (Message)

The Advanced tab for the Message component lets you fine-tune how and when a message is delivered in the chat flow. These settings help improve clarity, pacing, and conversational quality.


Rephrase Messages

When enabled, the chatbot can automatically rephrase the message if needed to improve clarity or natural language flow.

Use this when:

  • You want the message to sound more conversational

  • The same message may appear in different contexts

  • You want to avoid repetitive or robotic phrasing

💡 Best suited for greeting messages, guidance text, and instructional messages.


Add Delay Before Message

Adds a delay (in seconds) before the message is displayed to the user.

Why this is useful:

  • Makes conversations feel more human

  • Prevents messages from appearing too quickly

  • Improves readability in multi-step flows

Recommended values:

  • 1–2 seconds → Natural conversation pacing

  • 3+ seconds → Emphasis before important information


Best Practices for Message (Advanced)

  • Add small delays between consecutive messages to avoid overwhelming users

  • Enable Rephrase Messages for welcome and help texts

  • Keep delays short for transactional or time-sensitive flows

  • Use consistent timing across similar messages for a smooth experience

2. Image/GIF

It is used to send a GIF or an Image.

  • You can add a text message for your image or GIF.

  • Select "Image/GIF" from the send information section.

  • Add the text message you want to send along with the image/GIF.

  • To send a GIF, search for it by name in the GIF section.

  • Or you can scroll down and upload an image from your device or paste the URL of the image.

Use Case: In case you want to send an image or GIF to the user, this component is used.

Show Media Caption

When enabled, a text caption is displayed along with the image or GIF.

Use this when:

  • You want to explain what the image shows

  • You need to add context or instructions

  • You want better accessibility for users

Examples of captions:

  • “Here’s how to reset your password”

  • “Sample product image”

  • “Step 2: Select your plan”

💡 Captions are especially helpful for instructional images and support flows.


Rephrase Messages

When enabled, the chatbot can automatically rephrase the accompanying text message to sound more natural or conversational.

Use this when:

  • The image is reused in multiple flows

  • You want to avoid repetitive or robotic captions

  • The message is informational rather than transactional

Not recommended when:

  • The caption contains exact instructions or compliance text


Add Delay Before Message

Adds a delay (in seconds) before the image or GIF is displayed.

Why this matters:

  • Creates a natural pause before visual content

  • Prevents media from appearing too abruptly

  • Improves readability when multiple messages appear in sequence

Recommended values:

  • 1–2 seconds → Smooth, natural pacing

  • 3+ seconds → Emphasis before important visuals

3. Video

It is used to send a video message in the chat flow.

  • You can enter a text message to be sent along with the video in the customize message menu.

  • You can add a video link or upload it from your device.

Use Case: In case you want to send a video message to the user, this component is used.

The Advanced tab for the Video component lets you control how videos are presented, described, and timed within your chat flow. These options help ensure videos are shown with proper context and smooth conversational pacing.


Show Media Caption

When enabled, a text caption is displayed along with the video.

Use this when:

  • You want to explain what the video is about

  • You are sharing tutorials, demos, or walkthroughs

  • You need to guide users on what to watch for

Example captions:

  • “Watch this quick demo to get started”

  • “Here’s a short video explaining our pricing”

  • “Step-by-step setup guide”

💡 Captions improve clarity and accessibility, especially for first-time users.

  • Always include a clear caption explaining the purpose of the video

  • Keep captions short and action-oriented

  • Use small delays to improve user experience

  • Avoid rephrasing captions with strict or time-sensitive instructions

It is used to send a web link in the chat.

  • You can enter a text message to send along with the link.

  • Select the platform from the dropdown for which you are adding the link.

  • Also, add a title for the link and insert the URL.

  • You can add multiple links. When the user clicks on the title, they will be redirected to the page.

Use Case: In case you want to redirect the user to a website or external page, this component is used.

Web Link

The Advanced tab for the Web Link component lets you control how external links are presented and timed within the chat flow. These options help ensure links are shared clearly and at the right moment in the conversation.


Rephrase Messages

When enabled, the chatbot may automatically rephrase the message text associated with the web link to make it sound more natural or conversational.

Use this when:

  • The same link is reused in multiple flows

  • You want a friendly, less repetitive tone

  • The link is informational or supportive in nature

Avoid enabling if:

  • The message contains exact wording (legal, compliance, or instructions)

  • The link text must remain unchanged


Add Delay Before Message

  • Prepares users before sharing an external link

  • Prevents the link from appearing too abruptly

  • Improves readability in multi-step conversations

  • Use clear, action-oriented link text (e.g., “Visit our pricing page”)

  • Add a short delay before important external links

  • Avoid rephrasing when sharing official URLs or policies

  • Keep link messages concise and purposeful
